Pulpit Ministry

At Hermon, we believe that the Word of God does the Work of God in the worshippers of God. Hearing the word and responding to it rightly is the means by which people are saved, sanctified, and satisfied in Christ.

Practically, it means we are committed to gospel-centred, expository sermons. In other words, we allow the point of the passage to govern the point of the message, and we seek to show how it leads us to know, trust and obey the Lord Jesus Christ.

We preach through different books each year, alternating between the Old and New Testaments. In 2025, we’ll be covering 1,2,3 John and 1 Corinthians. We pray that faith will come by hearing, leading to fruit-bearing in the lives of the church.
